Emunah means faithful (steadfast) and in the Jewish mind, it means unwavering confidence in the faithfulness of God. Our precious Lord continually demonstrates His faithfulness to us by keeping true to every one of His promises and His unbreakable covenant of Love.

Know therefore that the Lord your God, is God, the faithful God, who keeps His covenant and His lovingkindness to a thousand generations, with those who love Him and keep His commandments.

(Deut 7:9)

Emunah is not only attributed to God but to those who remain stable (faithful) amid the unsettling circumstance of life because His truth has established them. He is looking for a people who will trust, be sure of, and hold true to His word.

Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.

(Heb 10:23)

In our life's journey it is inevitable we will face obstacles along the way. It is at these junctures we cling to hope, persevere in the face of adversity and confidently lean upon the faithfulness of God. This is true emunah!

He is the Rock! His work is perfect, and all His ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong,

upright and just is He.

(Deut 32:4)

Ketubah

Love Agreement

Over 3,000 years ago, on the 5th of Sivan (Shavuot), God gave the Jewish people the Torah on Mount Sinai. At this time, His word was written on tablets of stone. Nonetheless, God swore eternal devotion to His people and in turn, they pledged everlasting loyalty to Him. This is truly a beautiful prophetic picture of God's betrothal to His people.

As we move forward in time, we find that 50 days after Yeshua ascended, His people once again received His word on Shavuot; only this time it was not written on tablets of stone but upon hearts of flesh.

In Jewish custom, a ketubah, in essence, is a love agreement that formalizes the various requirements and responsibilities of the groom to his bride... herein are the great and precious promises contained in Torah!

Ketubah anointing oil contains coriander which represents the word of God. Fiery Love has been added to illustrate the holiness of Gods unending love for us as well as the giving of the Holy Spirit. This is brought forth in scripture by the tongues of fire which rested upon those who were waiting in the upper room. Hephzibah

My Delight

In Isaiah 62 we see a beautiful picture of Zion's future glory and in verse 4 Zion is given a new name 'Hephzibah'. The Lord says that she will no longer be forsaken nor her land desolate but she will be called, "My delight is in her". A truly beautiful anointing!

Hephzibah contains Fig which represents the bride turning herself away from all the lies and defilements of the enemy to focus her spirit inward upon the Lover of her soul. It also contains the Garden Blend which represents the attributes the King finds within the heart of the Bride - even in her weakness and immaturity.
