Looking to the children of Israel and their wilderness wanderings, most, if not all of us can identify with their journey. God's purposes for them were vast but His main intent was to deliver them from a slave mentality into that of sons. His purposes for us remain the same.

Now is the season of transition and for many, it's time to cross our Jordan! We have been delivered of the orphan (slave) spirit and it is time to cross over to our promised land.

As we heed the call of God to go forth, it is of utmost importance to remember the specific promises He has made to us. They are what we'll need to sustain us in the days ahead.

He promised our ancestors they would eat from a land that was flowing with milk and honey. What is flowing in your land of promise?

In a time of corporate worship I had a vision where I saw the river of God flowing from His throne and into the crystal sea. As I continued to worship I saw it turn into a raging river and as I was beginning to get caught up in its force, immediately I thought, “I’m going to die! I’m going to be swept away in this river and I’m not going to survive.” Within moments the vision changed and I was outside of the river and it was pouring down over a large precipice, turning into a massive waterfall. I was standing by the waterfall and could feel the cool mist like a refreshing shower.

I had no understanding of the vision but two days later, in a dream, Yeshua spoke to me and said, “My voice is as the sound of many waters.” I immediately began to awaken and as I did I was speaking out the scripture,

“As the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there without watering the earth, making it bear and sprout, furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; so shall My word be which goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to me void, without accomplishing what I desire and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.”

Instantly, I had understanding of the vision.

We are, beyond doubt, at the threshold of the latter rain. An unrestrained river is about to be poured out of heaven and it will deluge the earth like a massive cascading waterfall. God will pour out His Spirit on all flesh and waters will break forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert. The scorched land will become a pool and the thirsty ground, springs of water. And a highway will be there, a roadway. And it will be called the Highway of Holiness. And the ransomed of the Lord will return and come with joyful shouting to Zion. With everlasting joy upon their heads, they will find gladness and joy and sorrow and sighing will flee away.

So let it rain, let it rain. Open the floodgates of heaven…..let it rain!

Holy Intimacy

In this extraordinary blend we’ve used the symbolic meaning of Cedar to represent the prophetic union of Yeshua with His Bride. The first ingredient in the blend is the Oil of Joy representing the fragrance of Yeshua's garments (Psalms 45:7-8). This exquisite oil has been mingled with Myrtle, as traditionally it was the flower used in the adornment of ancient Hebrew brides. Myrtle was also one of the three botanicals used to construct booths for the Feast of Tabernacles which eludes to our ‘bridal canopy’. Transcendence

When we are faced with extremely painful situations in life we are often confronted with the authenticity of our faith. It is in this crucible we are tested and given the opportunity to enter into a place some will turn away from...Gethsemane. In this garden our Beloved has shown us, by example, how to endure even the greatest testing of our lives; absolute and unreserved surrender to His loving will; even in our pain and weakness. Saying yes to the cross set before us enables our place of suffering to become a place of transcendence.

Fig

Throughout scripture figs symbolically represent fertility, fruitfulness and prosperity. They were known as one of the ‘Seven Species’ of the Promised Land which included wheat, barley, grapes, figs, pomegranates, olives and dates.

Contrary to popular belief the fig is not a fruit. It’s actually a flower that has turned inward into itself and is known as a synconium. This flat, wide, floral receptacle closes inward into a fruit-like structure wherein lay tiny sessile flowers. Here, in the ‘heart’ of the flowers fertilization takes place.

This is an absolutely beautiful picture of the Bride of Christ turning her heart away from the lies, deceits and defilements of the enemy to focus her spirit inward upon the Lover of our soul. In this place of oneness, true fertilization takes place and the birthing of the Sons of God come forth.
