ALMOND - SPIRIT FILLED LIFE AND POWER

 

The lamp stand in the Tabernacle of Moses was made of pure gold and its appearance was much like an almond bush with its different stages of buds, flowers and fruit.  It was filled with the finest olive oil and used to illuminate the holy place.  The gold of the lamp stand represents the deity of the Lord.  The buds, flowers and fruit show the power of the Lord as the Life-giver.  The seven lamps speak of the perfection of our Lord as the Light-bearer and Giver.  The olive oil represents the Lords anointing, consecration and fullness of the Holy Spirit.

 

Our portion in this anointing is for the infilling of the Holy Spirit, receiving power to be His witnesses and manifesting the gifts and fruit of the Spirit.
